Das muss erst mal einer nachmachen…
Der deutsche Poker-Profi Ole Schemion (32) hat beim „World Festival“ auf der Poker-Plattform GGPoker (Anzeige) mächtig Eindruck hinterlassen. Bei der mit 250 Mio. Dollar dotierten Serie legte er einen Mega-Lauf hin, erzielte zahlreiche Top-Ergebnisse. Insgesamt kassierte er unglaubliche 1,24 Mio. Euro. Damit gehört er definitiv zu den großen Gewinnern.
Deutscher Top-Spieler rasiert bei Online-Serie
Die Schemion-Bilanz eindrucksvoll: 7-mal holte er den Titel, 7-mal wurde er Zweiter und zweimal Dritter. Bei der Größe der Felder und der Konkurrenz ist das schon pures Können statt Glück. Der Berliner spielte dabei hauptsächlich die High-Roller-Turniere, wo die Gegner am stärksten sind. Dass er dennoch so erfolgreich war, ist eine Mega-Auszeichnung für ihn – und für Poker-Deutschland.
Immer mehr Flammen!: Waldbrände erschüttern Kanada
Eindrucksvoller war nur der Sieg vom deutschen No-Name-Spieler Caspar Engelien. Er holte tatsächlich die 1.500 Dollar GG World Championship, gewann mit einem Schlag 1,24 Mio. Euro. Über den in Österreich lebenden Zocker ist allerdings wenig bekannt, bisher tauchte er nur selten auf. Aber vielleicht war das der Startschuss für eine große Karriere.
Online räumen die Deutschen regelmäßig ab – bei den Live-Events ist noch Luft nach oben. Nachdem es keinen Sieg bei der Triton-High-Roller-Serie in Montenegro gegeben hatte, ist auch der Start bei der World Series of Poker noch sehr dünne. Die Finals der ersten beiden Events finden ohne deutsche Beteiligung statt. Jedoch gibt es Hoffnung beim 5.000 Dollar Pot-Limit-Omaha-Event. Gleich vier deutsche Spieler schafften es in den 2. Tag.
