SPORT BILD hatte in dieser Woche vom Ferrari-Interesse an Red-Bull-Teamchef Christian Horner (51) berichtet. Der Engländer ist seit 2005 bei seinem Rennstall, hat dort 14 WM-Titel geholt – acht Fahrertitel und sechs in der Konstrukteurswertung.
Vor dem Großen Preis von Spanien in Barcelona (Sonntag, 15 Uhr, Sky und RTL live, Liveticker bei BILD.de) reagierte Horner nun auf den Bericht.

Seine Antwort: „Es ist immer schmeichelhaft, wenn man mit anderen Teams in Verbindung gebracht wird. Aber ich bin zu 100 Prozent Red Bull verpflichtet. Das Engagement war immer langfristig angelegt – und so wird es sicher auch bleiben. Es gibt eine ganze Menge Gerüchte – wie immer in diesem Geschäft – wer geht wohin und so weiter. Ich glaube, dass die Leute im Team genau wissen, was Sache ist. Die Frage ist doch auch, wie das funktionieren sollte – mein Italienisch ist noch schlechter als Flavios Englisch…“
Damit meint er Alpine-Teamchef Flavio Briatore (75), der bei der Pressekonferenz mit ihm auf dem Podium sitzt.
Ein klares Nein von Horner ist das zwar nicht, aber SPORT BILD weiß: Der Brite sieht seine Zukunft, trotz des losen Interesses, klar bei Red Bull.

Schon zu Beginn der Veranstaltung wird Briatore nach der Möglichkeit gefragt, dass Mick Schumacher (26) entweder noch in dieser Saison oder ab 2026 für seinen Rennstall an den Start gehen könnte.
Auf die Frage reagiert der Italiener sichtlich genervt, sagt: „Ich weiß nicht, warum wir jetzt über Schumacher reden. Wir schreiben das Jahr 2025. Ich verstehe das nicht.“
Und er fragt den Journalisten zurück: „Was wollen Sie denn wissen?“
Da schaltet sich Horner ein, fragt: „Holst Du Mick Schumacher?“
Briatore: „Ja, klar. Das sagt jeder. Ich glaube nicht, dass das eine Frage ist, die man hier stellen sollte. Nächste Frage!“
Der Journalist hakt nach: „Nochmal ganz deutlich – kriegt Mick einen Vertrag?“
Briatore: „Ich will nicht darüber reden.“

Aktuell fahren der Franzose Pierre Gasly (29) und Franco Colapinto (22) für den Alpine-Rennstall. Der Argentinier hatte vor zwei Rennen den Australier Jack Doohan (22) abgelöst, hat die Erwartungen aber bisher nicht ansatzweise erfüllt.
Sollte Colapinto ausgetauscht werden, wäre Mick einer von mehreren Kandidaten für das Cockpit.
