Novo presidente da CBF, Samir Xaud garante apoio e total autonomia para Arthur Elias após vitória contra o Japão

Na noite da última quinta-feira (30), a Seleção brasileira feminina enfrentou a Seleção do Japão em amistoso preparatório para a Copa América Feminina, que acontecerá em julho.

Com destaque para a atuação de Dudinha, o Brasil venceu as japonesas por placar de 3 a 1. Essa foi a quarta vitória do Brasil nos últimos cinco jogos e também a segunda seguida.

Desde as Olimpíadas de Paris, da qual o Brasil saiu com a medalha de prata, a equipe comandada por Arthur Elias saiu derrotada de apenas uma partida, contra os Estados Unidos. De lá pra cá, são cinco vitórias em sete partidas.

Mesmo com a CBF vivendo momento conturbado, com mudanças de presidente e crises organizacionais, a Seleção brasileira feminina não parece ser afetada, e faz bom trabalho com Arthur Elias. O novo presidente, Samir Xaud, falou após o jogo sobre o trabalho da Seleção feminina.

“Elas já vem numa ascendência de alguns anos para cá, e hoje provaram mais do que nunca que a gente está no caminho certo, então o que contar com a CBF elas terão total apoio e a comissão técnica e o técnico terão total autonomia.” afirmou Samir Xaud.

O novo presidente também havia dito anteriormente em sua posse sobre mudanças e maior investimento no Futebol Feminino, afirmando que isso será uma de suas pautas durante seu mandato.

Próximo duelo do Brasil

Agora, a Seleção brasileira feminina descansa durante o final de semana e se prepara para o próximo amistoso, que será também contra o Japão, na próxima segunda-feira (2), no Estádio Cicero de Souza Marques, em Bragança Paulista. A bola vai rolar às 20h da noite.
