Der Trainer steht bei den Ostwestfalen bis 2026 unter Vertrag. An diesem Mittwoch beraten sich die Paderborner Bosse, für welche Summe sie Kwasniok ziehen lassen wollen.
Bisher war bekannt, dass er bis zu 1,5 Millionen Euro kosten soll. Jetzt enthüllt SPORT BILD neue Details und eine irre Klausel.
Der SCP vereinbarte mit seinem Coach, dass über seine Ablöse bis Ende Juli frei verhandelt wird – sollte ein Bundesligist anfragen. Was Paderborn aktuell mit dem FC macht. Doch wartet Köln bis Ende Juli, greift eine Klausel. Dann wäre Kwasniok für rund 500.000 Euro zu bekommen.

Ob der FC so viel Zeit verstreichen lässt? Unwahrscheinlich. Anfang Juli beginnt Köln mit der Vorbereitung auf die kommende Bundesliga-Saison. Ohne den neuen Cheftrainer – undenkbar.
Köln ist bereit, mehr für Kwasniok zu zahlen. Paderborn hofft auf eine Summe von bis zu einer Million Euro.
Kölns Sportdirektor Thomas Kessler (39) macht Tempo – und investiert schon in Kwasnioks Mannschaft. Am vergangenen Samstag verpflichtete er den zweiten Millionen-Star des Sommers. Dem Nachbarn Fortuna Düsseldorf schnappte er den zentralen Mittelfeldspieler Isak Johannesson (22) weg, indem er die Ausstiegsklausel (5,5 Mio. Ablöse) des Isländers am letztmöglichen Tag aktivierte.

Die Offensive nimmt damit Formen an. Zuvor hatte Kessler bereits Ragnar Ache (26) vom 1. FC Kaiserslautern geholt. Festgeschriebene Ablöse: Knapp 4 Mio. Euro. Die Transfers zeigen, dass das Spar-Diktat von Ex-Geschäftsführer Christian Keller (46) mit dessen Entlassung Anfang Mai aufgehoben wurde. Entscheidend ist wieder die Qualität, nicht der (niedrigste) Preis am Tag der Verpflichtung.
