Hollywood met the NFL this week when actress Ana de Armas delivered a surprise video message to the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching fans off guard and adding a dose of star power to the franchise’s preseason hype.
The video, shared via the team’s official social media channels, was part of the promotional campaign for de Armas’ upcoming action film Ballerina, a spin-off of the John Wick series.
“Hi Jaguars, this is Ana de Armas,” she said in the clip. “I am so excited to have you be one of the very first to see my new film Ballerina. Hope you’re ready for it. Wishing you the best of luck on your upcoming season. Go Jags!”
The brief greeting went viral within hours, generating buzz across both the entertainment and sports worlds. But for Jaguars fans, the message also felt like a timely endorsement – especially as the franchise gears up for a pivotal season with an injection of young talent, most notably rookie Travis Hunter.
College sensation to Jaguars cornerstone
Hunter, drafted second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, arrived in Jacksonville as one of the most electrifying prospects in recent memory.
