In der vergangenen Saison setzte sich Schick mit 21 Bundesliga-Toren klar durch, war aber nie wirklich glücklich. Doch jetzt ist klar: Schick (Vertrag bis 2027), der 2020 für 26,5 Millionen Euro von AS Rom kam, wird nicht verkauft. Sein Berater Alen Augustincic, der bereits beim FC Bayern vorgefühlt hatte, wurde über das Transfer-Veto informiert.
