A contratação de Jorginho pode não ser a única movimentação do Flamengo, no mercado da bola. Gerson, que recentemente renovou o contrato até o fim de 2030, está cotado para sair. O Zenit, da Rússia, é um possível destino. De acordo com informações do site Coluna do Fla, o clube europeu analisa oferecer Wendel mais cinco milhões de euros para contratar o profissional. O meio-campista é um desejo antigo do time rubro-negro.
Em 2022, a equipe treinada por Filipe Luís negociou a contratação do atleta, mas não houve acordo. Wendel estava comprometido para jogar no Botafogo, mas o clube do investidor John Textor mudou de ideia. Em nota, o Glorioso afirmou que “questões geopolíticas” impediram a conclusão do negócio.
Flamengo se incomoda por informações sobre Gerson
Conforme o repórter Paparazzo Rubro-Negro, a diretoria flamenguista, liderada pelo presidente, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, o BAP, está incomodada com o vazamento de informações sobre Gerson. O caso ganhou repercussão justamente no dia em que o clube do Rio de Janeiro oficializou a transferência de Jorginho.
Próximo jogo do clube
O Flamengo está focado no Mundial de Clubes. A estreia no torneio internacional está marcada para ocorrer no dia 16 de junho. A partir das 22h (horário de Brasília), enfrenta o Espérance. O clube está no grupo D. A chave também tem Chelsea e León como integrantes.
O clube voltou a treinar após três dias de folga. O elenco estava reduzido. Isso porque vários jogadores foram convocados para representar os países em que nasceram. Gerson é um deles. Arrascaeta, Varela, Gonzalo Plata, Wesley, Léo Ortiz, Alex Sandro e Danilo completam a lista.
