Der Barça-Boss hat Julian Alvarez als neuer Hoffnungsträger auserkoren!
Der Radiosender „Cadena SER“ berichtet, dass Klub-Präsident Joan Laporta einen klaren Favoriten als Nachfolger für Starstürmer Robert Lewandowski hat.
Laporta soll den Weltmeister Julian Alvarez vom LaLiga-Konkurrenten Atletico Madrid intern als „idealen Ersatz“ für den polnischen Torjäger bezeichnet haben. Aber: Ein Transfer sei nicht für die kommende Saison geplant, sondern erst 2026.
Rafael Leao war lange Laportas Wunschkandidat Nummer eins. Doch jetzt hat Alvarez diese Rolle übernommen. Lewandowskis Vertrag endet nach der nächsten Spielzeit, und obwohl der 36-Jährige eine brillante Saison bei den Katalanen spielte, könnte es sein letztes Jahr im Barça-Trikot sein.
Alvarez steht noch bis 2030 bei Atletico unter Vertrag. Dennoch sind die Gerüchte um Barcelonas Interesse nicht neu. Bereits in den letzten Monaten wurde mehrfach berichtet, dass Barça ein Auge auf den 25-Jährigen geworfen hat.
