Brisante Hintergründe zum Polen-Knall!

Robert Lewandowski (36) will unter dem derzeitigen Trainer Michal Probierz (52) nicht mehr für die Nationalmannschaft seines Heimatlandes auflaufen. Das hat der Weltklasse-Stürmer am Sonntagabend in einer Instagram-Story bekannt gegeben.

Die Situation sei sogar so schlimm gewesen, dass seine Mitspieler nach der Verkündung, dass Lewandowski als Kapitän abgesetzt werde, freudig reagiert und sogar applaudiert hätten! Das schreibt der polnische Journalist Dariusz Dobek von „Przegląd Sportowy Onet“.

Dobzek: „Es gab kein nervöses Umherschauen, um zu sehen, wie man reagieren sollte, es gab sofort Applaus.“

Sebastian Staszewski vom polnischen Portal „Meczyki.pl“ bestätigt dies, schreibt: „Ich habe gehört, dass die Mannschaft die Entscheidung akzeptiert und begrüßt hat, gerade, weil Piotr Zieliński (neuer Kapitän, Anm. d. Red.) in der Mannschaft sehr beliebt ist. Viele Spieler vermeiden es aber zu sagen, dass sie froh sind, dass Robert weg ist. Sie haben Respekt vor ihm.“

Grund für das schwierige Verhältnis der polnischen Mannschaft zu ihrem Superstar soll vor allem seine respektlose und divenhafte Art sein, heißt es in den Berichten.

Dobek zufolge hat Lewandowski seine Mitspieler und den Trainerstab nach dem 2:0-Sieg gegen Malta im März in der Kabine wüst beschimpft.

Kurios: Lewandwoski wollte sich eigentlich für ein Spiel mit seinem Verein, dem FC Barcelona, drei Tage später schonen, wurde deshalb auch erst spät eingewechselt. Trotzdem verärgerte dies wohl den Ex-Bundesliga-Star (BVB und Bayern) so sehr, dass er in der Kabine Trainer und Mitspieler anfuhr. Anschließend hatte er seinem Ärger auch öffentlich noch Luft gemacht und im TV die Arbeit von Trainer Probierz kritisiert.

Doch damit nicht genug. Auch Lewandowskis Entscheidung, auf die Länderspiele gegen Moldau (2:0) und am kommenden Dienstag in der WM-Quali in Finnland wegen „mentaler Müdigkeit“ zu verzichten, soll nicht gut angekommen sein.

Als Lewandowski am vergangenen Freitag dann plötzlich doch zur ersten Partie in Chorzów erschien – offiziell, um seinen Kumpel Kamil Grosicki zu verabschieden – würdigten sich Star und Trainer keines Blickes. Nach der Hymne gab es eine halbherzige Umarmung.

Die polnische Presse schreibt inzwischen sogar schon von „Krieg“ und einem „Tornado“.
