Angel Reese embarrasses Vanessa Bryant and daughter Natalia for a curious reason

Vanessa Bryant and her daughters added a touch of glamor and heartfelt fandom to the New York Liberty‘s dominant 85-66 win over the Chicago Sky.

With her family by her side, the 43-year-old widow of NBA icon Kobe Bryant made a rare public appearance to support Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu, Kobe’s protege and a close friend of the Bryant family.

Vanessa, dressed in a bold red outfit that turned heads and silenced recent social media speculation about pregnancy, was all smiles with daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

While the Liberty‘s 9-0 start has fans dreaming of another WNBA championship, it was the Bryant family’s courtside energy that drew just as much attention off the floor.

Natalia Bryant, now 22 and forging her own path in fashion and modeling, stood out during the night in her own right, posing for photos with reigning French Open champion Coco Gauff, who was also in attendance.

The crossover of sports icons from basketball to tennis highlighted the growing unity among elite women athletes and their supporters.

Reese towers over the moment in postgame photos

But one of the most talked-about moments came after the final buzzer, when 6-foot-3 Chicago Sky star Angel Reese joined the Bryant family for a postgame photo that instantly lit up social media.

Reese towered over both Vanessa, who stands at 5-foot-5, and Natalia, who at 5-foot-9 was a standout volleyball player in high school. Despite the Sky’s loss, Reese remained gracious and beamed while posing with the Bryant girls.

Vanessa, Natalia, and little Bianka and Capri also shared a touching reunion with Ionescu, who greeted the family warmly.

Smiles, hugs, and cameras captured the heartwarming interaction-a moment that celebrated more than just a basketball game.

It reflected the Bryant family’s continued support for women’s sports and their growing bond with the WNBA community.

Though Kobe may be gone, his presence still lingers around the league through Vanessa‘s unwavering commitment to uplifting the athletes he admired.

Tuesday night in Brooklyn was yet another reminder that the Mamba legacy lives on, not just through wins and highlights, but through family, friendship, and moments that transcend the court.

Back Bills to Win Super Bowl … Because What Could Go Wrong?

What if I told you back in August that Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson would all be watching the NFL playoffs from home?Only four weeks remain in the regular season and, honestly, the situation laid out above isn’t too farfetched if you really think about it.  Burrow’s Bengals are dead and buried while Mahomes’ Chiefs and Jackson’s Ravens are literally underdogs to make the postseason. The Chiefs are as high as -800 to miss in the market.  If you knew then what you know now … what would’ve been the play?"Oh, I would’ve emptied the clip on Buffalo," one professional bettor told me from Las Vegas. "The only team that’s stopped Josh Allen is Kansas City. That’s the only one that matters. Mahomes is their kryptonite."And yet a path without all three is obviously easier. This page may contain […]

What’s Next: Pete Alonso Gives Baltimore a Boost and the Mets Need to Act Fast

ORLANDO, Fla. – In the latest shake-up to the Mets’ core, the club’s all-time home run leader is bound for Baltimore. Just one day after losing longtime closer Edwin Díaz to the Dodgers in free agency, and weeks after trading Brandon Nimmo to the Rangers, Pete Alonso is the latest franchise icon to depart from Queens this winter after agreeing to a five-year, $155 million deal with the Orioles that will give him the highest average annual value ever for a first baseman in free agency. A year ago, Alonso was unable to secure the long-term deal he coveted coming off a down year by his standards. He settled for a two-year, $54 million contract that included an opt-out, which he exercised this winter after raising all of his slash-line numbers in 2025, hitting 44% above league average and passing Daryl Strawberry […]
