Tom Brady knows how to win-on the field and apparently, on the wrist too.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ showed up at a recent private gala in Los Angeles wearing a Rolex Day-Date Olive Green Arabic Dial. It’s a rare model with a $175,125 price tag, often dubbed a “Middle East exclusive” due to its unique dial design. Not your average party accessory.

That might be why Hollywood heavyweight Leonardo DiCaprio allegedly took notice. According to a viral YouTube video, the Killers of the Flower Moon actor walked up to Brady while he admired one of the event’s sculptures and dropped a smooth line:
“Didn’t know you had Middle East exclusives in your playbook.”
Brady, ever the showman, supposedly replied: “Seven rings open strange doors.” The moment had all the swagger of a scripted movie scene-which is part of the issue.
Was it real, or just another AI remix?
The clip making the rounds appears to be AI-generated. Some fans are skeptical, and one commenter on the video summed it up perfectly: “This is high-end cap.” That said, it wouldn’t be entirely out of character. Brady and DiCaprio have crossed paths before-most recently at a Jay-Z-hosted bash in Las Vegas, where they were spotted alongside Tobey Maguire and a crew of A-listers.
And Brady’s taste in watches is no secret. Earlier this year, he turned heads at F1’s Miami Race Week with a $46,533 Rolex Day-Date 40. But not all his timepieces land as smoothly. His $600,000 Jacob & Co. Caviar Tourbillon-worn during his Super Bowl LIX broadcast debut-sparked an internet roast session. Critics called it over-the-top. GQ even jumped in, calling it a “distracting flex.”
Still, the man clearly knows his horology. François-Henry Bennahmias, former CEO of Audemars Piguet, reportedly gifted Brady a limited edition Royal Oak valued at $85,000. Only 300 exist worldwide. Not bad for someone just a few months into retirement.
Whether Leo actually dropped the line or not, one thing’s clear: when Tom Brady walks into a room, people look-especially at his wrist.
