Premier-League-Klub Tottenham Hotspur will Bayern-Stürmer Mathys Tel (20) fest verpflichten. Schon seit Januar war der junge Franzose für eine Gebühr in Höhe von 10 Millionen Euro an den Londoner Verein ausgeliehen.

Für Tel sollen die Bayern nach 10 Mio. Leihgebühr nun noch einmal rund 35 Mio. bekommen, also insgesamt 45 Mio. Bei transfermarkt.de hat er einen Marktwert von 35 Mio.
Tel wurde in München schnell zu einem Fan-Liebling, konnte sich aber nie dauerhaft durchsetzen. Auch weil seine richtige Position nie klar war: Er wechselte zwischen Flügelstürmer und hängender Spitze. Das Potenzial des französischen U21-Nationalspielers ist unbestritten, kam in München aber nie voll zur Geltung.
Eberl sagte noch in den USA: „Wir sprechen mit Tottenham, das ist kein Geheimnis. Wir werden sehen, was passiert.“ Nun steht der Deal vor dem Abschluss: Tottenham hat auch durch den Sieg in der Europa League mehr Geld zur Verfügung: Der Verein aus Nord-London darf dadurch in der Champions League antreten – und wird das mit Mathys Tel machen.
