Nesta segunda-feira (16), o Flamengo fará diante do Espérance Tunis a sua estreia na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Para a disputa do torneio, o clube decidiu não poupar esforços para fazer com que todo o processo de preparação seja o melhor possível.
E a bagagem trazida pelo clube para sua base de preparação, em Atlantic City, é uma prova de como o Rubro-Negro quer encarar o Mundial de Clubes. Segundo informação do GE, os flamenguistas trouxeram algo em torno de três toneladas de equipamento, material esportivo e alimentos para os Estados Unidos. Muito disto por questão de necessidade e prevenção.
‘Exagero’ de material esportivo por necessidade
Um destes pontos foi o número de chuteiras levadas pela delegação flamenguista. São 150 pares que deverão ser usados pelos 31 atletas que estarão à disposição de Filipe Luís nos EUA, algo em torno de cinco pares de chuteira para cada jogador em média. O número de camisas levadas para o torneio também é ‘exagerado’, algo em torno de mil uniformes, com grande parte deles sendo de treinamento.
Neste caso, levar um número maior de uniformes de treino do que se costumaria utilizar tem a ver com uma regra da Fifa. Na véspera dos jogos, a entidade tem a responsabilidade pelas atividades e, por conta de restrições a exibição de patrocinadores segundo as regras do Mundial, algumas marcas presentes no material não poderiam ser usadas nos locais dos jogos. O que fez com que o Flamengo se precavesse e levasse uma quantidade de uniformes cumprindo com esta restrições.
Além do material esportivo, também foram levados para Atlantic City diversos aparelhos de recuperação, comunicação, análise de desempenho, infraestrutura e até mesmo alimentos (como feijão, goiabada e farofa), que não são fáceis de se achar em solo americano. Como a viagem para os EUA foi em voo fretado e direto, não houve maiores problemas para colocar a pesada bagagem no voo, que levou uma delegação de 71 pessoas
Logística de clube ‘top’
José Boto, diretor executivo de futebol do Flamengo, comentou sobre a operação em coletiva na última quinta-feira (12). O dirigente valorizou o esforço, citando que o clube fez todo um trabalho comparável ao dos principais clubes do mundo para poder ter a performance desejada dentro de campo na competição.
“A logística que usamos é de um clube ‘top’ Desde o avião em que todos os lugares eram lugares em que os jogadores podiam descansar. Os hotéis são inscritos pela Fifa, tem toda as condições que um clube top tem necessidade. O Real Madrid e o Bayern de Munique não vão ter coisas melhores que nós temos. Não será pela logística que o Flamengo não terá um bom rendimento”, disse Boto.
