Assistência, dupla com Pulgar e atuação contundente: veja como foi estreia de Jorginho pelo Flamengo

Disputar a Copa do Mundo de Clubes foi um dos grandes diferenciais para Jorginho fechar com o Flamengo. E foi justamente na estreia do torneio que o volante fez sua primeira partida com a camisa rubro-negra: uma amostra de classe suficiente para provar o nível do jogador que se soma ao elenco treinado por Filipe Luís. A assistência para o gol de Luiz Araújo, que fechou a conta na vitória por 2 a 0 sobre o Espérance (Tunísia), na noite de ontem, foi o ponto máximo de uma atuação contundente de alguém parecendo que já “se sente em casa”.

O novo camisa 21 rubro-negro foi um dos melhores em campo no Lincoln Financial Field, na Filadélfia, junto de Arrascaeta e Luiz Araújo, autores dos gols do jogo. Ao que pese o nível muito inferior do adversário africano, era o seu primeiro jogo em uma realidade bem diferente dos mais de dez anos no futebol europeu, e ele mostrou suas credenciais.

O principal diferencial trazido pelo ítalo-brasileiro foi a capacidade de ditar o ritmo de jogo desde a saída de bola. Com a ausência de Nico de la Cruz, ele se posicionou como titular ao lado de Erick Pulgar e foi bem nas movimentações junto do volante chileno, assim como nas tentativas de passes, dando a impressão de fazer parte do grupo há bastante tempo.

— Me senti muito bem. Minha primeira impressão é de que é um grupo maravilhoso de jogadores, que querem caminhar na mesma direção, com a mesma ideia de trabalho. Jogadores de grande qualidade, que acredito que se encaixam bem com as minhas características. Acredito que podemos desfrutar daqui para frente — disse o jogador após a partida.

Verticalidade e precisão

Um dos principais pontos da atuação do Flamengo, sobretudo na blitz inicial do primeiro tempo, foi a verticalidade, aspecto que Jorginho contribuiu bastante. O meio campo do Espérance pouco viu a bola pela sua capacidade de se posicionar nas subidas e romper as primeiras linhas da marcação adversária. Foi assim que, aos 17 minutos de jogo, municiou Arrascaeta, que iniciou e finalizou a jogada do primeiro gol.

Jorginho esteve à vontade junto dos novos companheiros, fosse pausando o jogo quando necessário ou acelerando ao arriscar passes. Entre os números de maior destaque da sua atuação, segundo o site SofaScore, estão a alta precisão nos passes (93%) e nas bolas longas (3 de 4), e a totalidade dos duelos vencidos (3 de 3).

O principal deles veio no segundo tempo, quando teve raciocínio rápido para receber de Varela e servir Luiz Araújo. O camisa 7 colocou a bola nas redes e oficializou a primeira participação direta para gol do ex-Arsenal no novo clube.

A presença do volante em vários pontos do meio, em especial caindo pelo lado esquerdo, deram uma palhinha do que deve ser seu comportamento no Flamengo. No final do jogo, também apareceu mais próximo à defesa, dando liberdade para Pulgar subir. O torcedor do Flamengo não deve esperar um meia que se aproxime da área, mas sim alguém para facilitar a condução da bola até ela.

A atuação agradou bastante Filipe Luís, que viu o suficiente dentro de campo. O treinador destacou seu nível físico e o bom entendimento com os companheiros próximos no gramado.

— O Jorginho veio em final de temporada, mas não jogou muito lá no Arsenal. Chegou aqui fisicamente bem, no mesmo nível dos outros jogadores. É um jogador muito inteligente e “pegou” muito rápido. Jogamos com dois volantes lado a lado, desempenhando a mesma função, independentemente da altura em que eles joguem. Um vai cair mais, outro menos, dependendo do plano de jogo que determinamos para aquele momento. Eles vão encontrando os espaços, e a relação entre ele, o Erick (Pulgar) e a defesa foi muito boa. Só tende a melhorar. Foram 70 minutos, não quis correr mais riscos. Ele tem muito a evoluir dentro do próprio modelo — declarou Filipe.

A próxima oportunidade para Jorginho atuar será contra o Chelsea, às 15h da sexta-feira (20). O clube inglês foi justamente onde ele atuou por quatro temporadas e meia e viveu seu auge, conquistando a Liga dos Campeões da Europa, em 2021.
