Embate do Verdão contra o Porto passa dos 46 mil em público; Flamengo fica atrás das partidas do Botafogo e também do Fluminense
O jogo do Palmeiras teve o maior público da primeira rodada da fase de grupos da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Em avaliação apenas entre as partidas dos clubes brasileiros, o empate em 0 a 0 do Verdão contra o Porto, em Nova Jersey, no Metlife Stadium, somou mais de 46 mil torcedores.
Logo em seguida, o confronto do Fluminense diante o Borussia Dortmund (Alemanha), nesta terça-feira (17), foi o segundo com maior público, com quase 35 mil. Botafogo x Seattle Sounders vem em terceiro, com um pouco mais de 30 mil, e Flamengo x Espérance ficou em último, com quase 26 mil; confira os detalhes:
Brasil passa ótima impressão na primeira rodada
O Brasil começou o Mundial de Clubes com boas atuações. Botafogo e Flamengo, que enfrentaram os adversários mais fáceis inicialmente, venceram e largaram com três pontos. O Glorioso sofreu no segundo tempo contra o Seattle, mas garantiu a vitória por 2 a 1, enquanto o Rubro-Negro impôs um 2 a 0 com mais segurança diante o time da Tunísia.
Fluminense e Palmeiras não venceram, porém foram amplamente superiores ao Borussia e Porto. Em duelos contra os europeus, os dois 0 a 0 não correspondem ao que foram os jogos, que teve as equipes brasileiras pressionando do começo ao fim e criando diversas chances.
Uma das grandes dúvidas na mídia esportiva e entre os torcedores era sobre qual é o nível do futebol brasileiro contra times da Europa que não necessariamente estão na primeira prateleira do continente.
