Stefan Effenberg (56) reiste als Bayern-Legende an, ist beim Spiel gegen die Boca Juniors (Samstag, 3 Uhr, live bei SAT1, DAZN und im Liveticker bei sportbild.de) im Stadion. Vor dem zweiten Gruppenspiel bei der Klub-WM in den USA stellte sich der Ex-Nationalspieler den brisanten Themen rund um seinen Ex-Klub.
Den Transfermarkt hat Effenberg genau im Blick. Nach der Absage von Florian Wirtz (22) steht nun Außenstürmer Nico Williams (22) vor einem Transfer zum FC Barcelona. Zu den Absagen sagt Effenberg: „Williams wäre einer gewesen. Ist jung, hungrig, hat uns alle begeistert bei der EM.“
[–>Den geplatzten Wirtz-Deal sieht Effenberg dagegen nicht nur negativ. Er glaubt, dass ein Spieler davon sogar profitieren kann: Jamal Musiala (22)! „Mario Basler hat es im Doppelpass gut gesagt: Man hat bei der Heim-EM gesehen, dass es bei einem der beiden einen Leistungsabfall gab, wenn sie gemeinsam auf dem Feld standen.“ Ein Wechsel nach München wäre nach Effenbergs Ansicht „für beide nicht gut gewesen. Musiala ist, glaube ich, sehr glücklich.“

Für die Zukunft hat Effenberg einen Stürmer für die Bayern im Blick, der gerade bei der U21-EM überzeugt: „Bayern sollte Woltemade im Fokus haben, wenn Harry Kane geht. Das ist ein Spielertyp, über den sich Bayern München schon heute Gedanken machen sollte. Er ist gemacht für hohe Ambitionen.“
