En la conversación con Forbes, Alexia recuerda también sus orígenes, desde los primeros toques en la plaza de su pueblo hasta su llegada al Barça, tras pasar por un campus de Nike: “Me ficharon después de verme allí. Xavi Llorens me enseñó a controlar esa rabia causada por mi pasión por jugar”.
Sobre el éxito del Barcelona femenino, lo tiene claro: “Es un proyecto super consolidado. No depende ni de una, ni de dos ni de cinco. El compromiso es tan grande que, aunque se fueran diez, las otras diez mantendrían la identidad y mentalidad del juego”.
