The Seattle Mariners' slugger hit two home runs on Sunday, giving him 49 on the season and breaking Kansas City Royals star Salvador Perez's record for the most home runs hit in a single season by a catcher (48). The switch-hitting Raleigh, batting from the right side, homered off Athletics left-handed starter Jacob Lopez in the first inning to make it 2-0 and tie Perez. Chicago fans were treated to an NFL-MLB crossover on Sunday afternoon, as Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent took to the mound and threw out the first pitch ahead of the White Sox's game against the Minnesota Twins at Rate Field.The 25-year-old Bagent is entering his third season with Chicago, where he'll again serve as the backup behind starter Caleb Williams. A nutno přiznat, že pro několik hráčů to byl teprve jeden z mála startů v nejvyšší české lize.„Byla to taková maturita, možná až zkouška na vysoké škole,“ uvědomoval si Holoubek.Trenére, převládá zklamání z výsledku, nebo hrdost?Těžko se to hodnotí v emocích. Sedmadvacetiletá Sabalenková letos na všech grandslamech došla minimálně do semifinále, při dvou finálových účastech na Australian Open a Roland Garros ale sbírku tří grandslamových titulů nerozmnožila. S Masárovou dnes ve vyrovnaném prvním setu bojovala 49 minut a zápas pak zlomila v úvodu druhé sady. Švýcarská reprezentantka měla v prvním gamu tři brejkboly, ani jeden ale nevyužila a ztratila na kurtu jistotu. Sabalenková pak rychle odskočila do vedení 5:0 a další komplikace už nepřipustila.Světová čtyřka Fritz se před rokem stal prvním americkým finalistou od roku 2006 a razantně vstoupil i do tohoto ročníku.
