Osnabrück-Abgang: Kayo wechselt nach Belgien

Bryang Kayo verlässt den Fußball-Drittligisten VfL Osnabrück und wechselt nach Belgien zum Erstligisten OH Leuven. Über die Wechselmodalitäten vereinbarten beide Vereine Stillschweigen, teilten die Niedersachsen mit.
Osnabrück hatte den 22 Jahre alten Amerikaner in der vergangenen Saison vom FC Ingolstadt ausgeliehen und erst vor wenigen Wochen fest verpflichtet. Der Mittelfeldspieler kam in 34 Pflichtspielen zum Einsatz und erzielte vier Tore.
„Wir haben nach der Anfrage aus Belgien die sportlichen und wirtschaftlichen Parameter eines Transfers von Bryang Kayo für uns intern bewertet und nach intensiven, aber stets partnerschaftlichen und zielführenden Gesprächen mit OH Leuven dem Wechsel zugestimmt“, sagte VfL-Sportdirektor Joe Enochs.
