Stürmer Nick Woltemade (23) möchte den VfB Stuttgart verlassen, am liebsten noch in diesem Sommer – und hat dafür nur einen Klub im Visier: den FC Bayern!
Nach BILD-Informationen hat der Stürmer seine Entscheidung, künftig für einen etablierten Champions-League-Klub auflaufen zu wollen, den VfB-Verantwortlichen um Trainer Sebastian Hoeneß (43) noch nicht mitgeteilt. Das soll aber zeitnah geschehen.
Die Woltemade-Seite hat die Stuttgart-Bosse darüber informiert, das Angebot zur Vertragsverlängerung, über das BILD vergangene Woche exklusiv berichtete, abzulehnen.
[–>Schon vergangene Woche fanden nach BILD-Informationen intensive Gespräche zwischen Bayern-Sportvorstand Max Eberl (51) und Woltemade-Berater Danny Bachmann (47) statt. Dabei sollen mögliche Wechsel-Modalitäten und Strategien für einen Sommer-Deal besprochen worden sein. Wie BILD weiß, will der Rekordmeister jetzt tatsächlich Ernst machen. Der Plan: Die Verhandlungen sollen schnellstmöglich beginnen. Bayern wird den VfB jetzt kontaktieren, um Stuttgarts Shooting-Star noch in diesem Sommer nach München zu holen.
Die Gespräche zwischen dem Pokalsieger und Woltemade hingegen sind zuletzt ins Stocken geraten. Nach Stuttgarts Angebot, das Jahres-Gehalt des Torjägers von 1,5 Millionen Euro auf 2,5 Millionen Euro anzuheben, herrschte lange Funkstille. Jetzt steht fest: Der U21-Nationalspieler wird die Offerte nicht annehmen, will lieber zum FC Bayern.

Aktuell sorgt der 1,98-Meter-Riese bei der U21-EM in der Slowakei für Furore. Mit sechs Treffern führt Woltemade die Torjägerliste an. Am Sonntag steht er mit Deutschland im Finale gegen England. In seiner Premieren-Saison beim VfB gelangen dem Goalgetter, der vor der Spielzeit ablösefrei von Werder Bremen gekommen war, 17 Buden in 33 Spielen.
