Kompany-Gespräch enthüllt – Bayern will Startelf mit Woltemade und Kane!

Das Problem, welches die Bayern beim geplatzten Transfer von Florian Wirtz (22) hatten, sollte dieses Mal unbedingt vermieden werden. Also sollen sich Vincent Kompany und Max Eberl (derzeit bei der Klub-WM in den USA) an den Laptop gesetzt und eine Video-Schalte gestartet haben. Der Anruf soll in die Slowakei gegangen sein: ins Teamquartier der deutschen U21-Nationalmannschaft, zu Nick Woltemade.

Der 1,98 Meter große Offensivspieler ist das Transferziel des FC Bayern. Während Wirtz der sportliche Plan von Liverpool mehr überzeugte als der aus München, sollte Woltemade von der Bayern-Strategie sofort begeistert werden. Das gelang Kompany und Eberl – Bayern stach u. a. den FC Chelsea und Italien-Meister Neapel aus.

Bei dem Video-Call soll Kompany sehr überzeugend aufgetreten sein, seine empathische Art und die sportlichen Inhalte sollen den Spieler begeistert haben. So habe er Woltemade versichert, dass er nicht als Back-up eingeplant ist, sondern als Stützpfeiler und Teil der Startelf, da es im Kader keinen Spielertypen wie ihn gäbe. Kompany soll klar aufgezeigt haben, wie das Zusammenspiel mit Harry Kane (31) und Jamal Musiala (22) auf dem Spielfeld aussehen könnte.

Kane und Woltemade könnten sich im Wechselspiel die Position 9 – also die des Mittelstürmers – aufteilen. Ein Spieler stößt zentral in die Spitze, der andere lässt sich dahinter fallen. Denn auch Kane übt gerne die Rolle des spielenden Stürmers aus, bewegt sich rund um die Position des Zehners, verteilt die Bälle.

Musiala wiederum könnte mehr über halblinks kommen. Allerdings wird ihm hierbei auch eine Stärke genommen: Je zentraler er spielt, desto mehr Bälle und Aktionen hat der Spielmacher. Und: Er liebt es, das Spiel vor sich zu haben und im Gewühl des Zentrums mit Dribblings und Pässen Situationen aufzulösen.

Bei Woltemade soll die Ideen jedenfalls gut angekommen sein: Er soll den Bayern sein „Ja“ gegeben haben, unbedingt nach München wechseln zu wollen. Mit dem Klub ist er sich einig, soll künftig sieben bis maximal elf Mio. Euro pro Jahr verdienen können. Das Angebot, welches ihm Stuttgart zur vorzeitigen Verlängerung unterbreitete, lag bei 2,5 Mio. Euro – eine Mio. mehr als er derzeit verdient. Nun droht jedoch ein zäher Poker um die Ablöse, der sich über den Sommer ziehen könnte.

Der VfB wusste nichts über die Gespräche zwischen Woltemade und dessen Management mit den Bayern. Als BILD und SPORT BILD am Donnerstag um 19.49 Uhr mit der Meldung „Bayern einig mit Woltemade“ online ging, wurden sie kalt erwischt. Auch wenn die Woltemade-Seite den VfB bereits informiert hatte, das Angebot zur Vertragsverlängerung nicht anzunehmen.

Was den VfB zudem irritieren soll: Die Gespräche mit Woltemade-Berater Danny Bachmann führte nicht nur Eberl, sondern auch Bayern-CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen (57). Der hatte zuletzt schon u. a. den Verkauf von Mathys Tel (20) über die Bühne gebracht. Mit VfB-Vorstandsboss Alexander Wehrle (50) soll Dreesen jetzt bereits Kontakt aufgenommen haben: zu einem so frühen Stadium eines Transfers eher unüblich. Die obersten Bosse finalisieren einen Transfer normal erst ganz am Ende.

Der erste Anruf erfolgte am späten Donnerstagabend von Eberl bei Wohlgemuth. Die deutliche Ansage des VfB: „Nick Woltemade steht nicht zum Verkauf.“ Eberl ließ Woltemade daraufhin wissen, dass sich die Bayern wieder melden werden. Der Sportvorstand soll zu Woltemade-Berater Bachmann beim ersten Treffen an der Säbener Straße Mitte Juni gesagt haben, dass er wisse: Bayern sei spät dran im Poker, wolle den Spieler dafür aber nun umso mehr.

Preis-Poker um Woltemade

Zu welchem Preis ist jedoch die Frage. Während man in München davon spricht, dass Woltemade eine „Wette auf die Zukunft“ und noch kein gestandener Top-Spieler sei, ist die Sichtweise vom VfB: Eine Summe von 50 Mio. Euro, wie sie den Bayern noch (maximal) vorschwebt, sei vielleicht vor fünf, sechs Jahren angemessen gewesen – aber bei Kenntnis der Ablöse-Entwicklungen in den vergangenen Jahren heute nicht mehr marktgerecht.

Die Bayern wollen mit Woltemade auch ihr Profil, der Klub der deutschen Top-Spieler zu sein, schärfen. Einst gab es den Traum von Uli Hoeneß, der Rekordmeister müsse der „FC Bayern Deutschland“ werden. Nun soll wieder ein Stamm von deutschen Nationalspielern aufgebaut werden. Dafür stehen einerseits Spieler wie Joshua Kimmich (30), Aleksandar Pavlovic (21), Jonathan Tah (29), Leon Goretzka (30) oder Musiala. Oder eben die Riege um Torwart Jonas Urbig (21) und Zugang Tom Bischof (20). Woltemade würde zu dieser Strategie perfekt passen. Und: Mit seiner offenen, lockeren und nie um einen Spruch verlegenen Art hätte er auf Sicht das Potenzial, in München zu einer Marke zu werden – und etwas in die großen Fußstapfen von Thomas Müller (35) zu treten.

Allerdings ist es noch ein weiter Weg, bis eine Einigung stehen könnte: Denn die 80 bis 100 Millionen Euro, die Lothar Matthäus ins Spiel brachte, werden beim VfB Stuttgart mitnichten in die Kategorie „nicht alle Tassen im Schrank“ (O-Ton Hoeneß über Matthäus) eingeordnet – sondern als realistische Schmerzgrenze.
