Jared Goff prepares to return to the field
The Detroit Lions will kick off their preseason on July 31, facing the Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, and Houston Texans.
For Week 1 of the regular season, they’ll go head-to-head with their divisional rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in an away game scheduled for Sunday, September 7.
Last year was a standout season for Jared Goff. Out of 539 pass attempts, he completed 390 for a total of 4,629 yards, with 37 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions.
Now, all eyes are on the 2025 season, which Goff hopes will be the year to reach the Super Bowl-and win it. A championship would allow him to etch his name in golden letters in the storied history of the Detroit Lions.
