Noch mehr Unruhe bei Inter!
Bei Inter Mailand hängt der Haussegen schief. Erst gab es das überraschende Aus im Klub-WM-Achtelfinale, dann der öffentlich ausgetragene Streit zwischen Calhanoglu (31) und Martinez (27). Jetzt verstärkt auch noch Verteidiger Benjamin Pavard (29) die Unruhen rund um den Verein mit einem Urlaubsfoto.
Was ist passiert? Der Ex-Bayern-Star verbringt seine Sommerpause mit Noch-Milan-Spieler Theo Hernandez (27) auf der italienischen Mittelmeerinsel Sardinien. Ein auf Instagram kursierendes Foto zeigt die beiden nun auf einem Padelplatz gemeinsam. Ein Bild, das bei Fans und Verantwortlichen des Vereins auf große Empörung stößt.
Hintergrund: Pavard war bis vor Kurzem noch mit Inter bei der Klub-WM in den USA aktiv. Doch vor dem Ausscheiden im Achtelfinale gegen Fluminense Rio de Janeiro (0:2) wurde der Franzose nach Hause geschickt. Grund: Wiederkehrende Knöchelprobleme.
Laut der italienischen Tageszeitung „Gazzetta dello Sport“ ist die Vereinsführung von Inter sehr frustriert und plant, Pavard zu einem ernsthaften Gespräch vorzuladen. Der Vorfall ereignet sich in einer ohnehin turbulenten Zeit der „Nerazzurri“.

Seit dem Final-Debakel in der Champions League gegen PSG (0:5) läuft es bei den Mailändern überhaupt nicht. Erst verlor man seinen Erfolgstrainer Simone Inzaghi (49) an Al-Hilal, dann die öffentliche Auseinandersetzung zwischen Inter-Kapitän Lautaro Martinez und Hakan Calhanoglu nach dem frühen Aus in der Klub-WM.
Martinez wählte deutliche Worte im Anschluss: „Jeder, der bei uns bleiben will, soll bleiben. Jeder, der nicht bleiben will, soll gehen.“ Diese Aussage wurde von vielen als Angriff auf den türkischen Mittelfeldspieler gewertet – so auch von Inter-Präsident Beppe Marotta (68). Denn: Calhanoglu wurde zuletzt mit einem Wechsel zu Galatasaray in Verbindung gebracht.
Der Ex-Hamburger äußerte sich im Anschluss auf Instagram zu der vermeintlichen Kritik an ihm: „Was mich am meisten schockiert hat, waren die Worte, die danach kamen. Harte Worte. Worte, die spalten, statt zu vereinen.“ Turbulente Zeiten beim Champions-League-Finalisten.
