Tobias Reichmann ist der Neue im Team von Dyn. Der Olympia-Dritte und Europameister von 2016 wurde im letzten Jahr seiner Karriere mit den Füchsen Berlin noch einmal Meister – gewann zuvor u. a. dreimal die Champions League mit Kiel und Kielce.

Reichmann: „Wir haben unglaublich geile Torhüter in der Bundesliga. Da fällt mir die Entscheidung schwer: der Kieler Andi Wolff, Berlins Dejan Milosavljev, Flensburgs Kevin Møller oder bis zu seiner Verletzung Melsungens Nebojsa Simic. Aber immer, wenn es um die Wurst ging, war einer besonders stark: Sergey Hernández. Er und seine Abwehr haben eine gute Kooperation. Und er ist stark darin, freie Würfe wegzufangen, hat eine unglaubliche Präsenz im Kasten.“

Linksaußen: Emil Jakobsen (27/Flensburg)

Reichmann: „Mit meiner Berliner Brille hätte ich auch Tim Freihöfer sagen können. Der ist für seine 22 Jahre schon so abgezockt und stabil vom Siebenmeterpunkt. Aber einen Tick besser fand ich noch Emil Jakobsen. Der hat auch alles, was Freihöfer hat. Vom geilen Trickwurf bis zielsicher geradeaus – von der Athletik und Schnelligkeit ist er Freihöfer noch einen kleinen Schritt voraus. Jakobsen ist unglaublich treffsicher (244 Tore; d. Red.) und zuverlässig in allen Spielen.“

Reichmann: „Mein Top-Mann nicht nur, weil er Torschützenkönig geworden ist, sondern einen ganzen Verein durch die Saison getragen hat. Er musste viel Verantwortung übernehmen, hat das überragend gemacht. Für sein Alter ist er ganz schön abgewichst und cool – 301 Tore, das muss man erst einmal machen in der besten Liga der Welt. Ich bin gespannt, wie er sich nach seinem Wechsel in Flensburg schlägt, wenn er Simon Pytlick vor der Nase hat.“

Kreisläufer: Johannes Golla (27/Flensburg)

Reichmann: „Der kompletteste Kreisläufer! Er ist überall gut. Wenn er den Ball hat, ist er nur schwer von ihm zu trennen, und es ist meistens auch ein Tor. Mit 80 Prozent hat er eine sehr gute Trefferquote. Dazu ist Golla ein unglaublich guter Abwehrspieler.“

Reichmann: „Ich hätte ihn auch auf die Kreisläuferposition neben Golla setzen können, denn Saugstrup ist auch im Angriff stark. Aber am beeindruckendsten ist seine Leistung als Abwehrchef. Er ist eine richtige Kante, da prallt man ab. Kein anderer konnte in dieser Saison so den Ballweg antizipieren, ihn herausspielen. Er kann jeden Angreifer genau lesen und schnappt sich dann den Ball. Unglaublich, wie er im Champions-League-Finale den Berliner Rückraum gestresst hat.“

Mitte: Gisli Kristjansson (25/Magdeburg)

Reichmann: „Auch hier könnte ich gleich mehrere Top-Leute nennen – von Berlins Nils Lichtlein über Melsungens Erik Balenciaga. Aber auch wenn er nicht alle Spiele gemacht hat, was Gisli auf der Spielmacher-Position immer abreißt, ist beeindruckend. Er hat ein brutales Eins-gegen-eins-Spiel, seine Vorstöße in die Tiefe sind Weltklasse, er ist fast nicht zu verteidigen. Der Unterschied zu Lichtlein und Balenciaga: Er ist noch torgefährlicher.“

Halbrechts: Mathias Gidsel (26/Füchse Berlin)

Reichmann: „Das war einfach! Da gibt es auch keine zwei Meinungen. Die klare Nummer 1 auf der Position ist Gidsel. Was und wie er spielt, da gibt es keinen Zweiten auf der Welt. Es ist so beeindruckend, wie er die Abwehrformationen der Teams reihenweise ausspielt, mit welcher Leichtigkeit er sie überwindet und dann mit einer beeindruckend hohen Wurfquote sein Werk vollendet.“

Rechtsaußen: Marius Steinhauser (32/Hannover-Burgdorf)

Reichmann: „Er war der treffsicherste Rechtsaußen der ganzen Liga und der Konstanteste von allen. Kastening, West av Teigum oder Zerbe hatten alle ihre Momente, aber auch kleinere Schwächephasen. Marius spielt unauffällig – aber hat er den Ball, wird er versenkt. Dazu läuft er sehr gute Tempogegenstöße und hat sehr viel Verantwortung.“

Trainer: Jaron Siewert (31/Füchse Berlin)

Reichmann: „Kompliment an den jüngsten Meistertrainer aller Zeiten. Das ist sicher nicht einfach mit dem Welthandballer im Team und den vielen jungen Spielern. Er arbeitet akribisch, mit Ruhe und harmonisch mit seinem Co-Trainer Max Rinderle. Er hat einen Plan zusammen mit dem ganzen Verein, der konsequent durchgezogen wird.“
