Der ThSV Eisenach startete am Montag mit seinem neuen Coach Sebastian Hinze in die Saisonvorbereitung – und der Umbruch wird noch größer als gedacht.

Eisenachs Nationalspieler sollte erst in einem Jahr nach Flensburg wechseln, der Transfer für den Sommer 2026 war längst klar (SPORT BILD berichtete). Im Vertrag bis 2027 gab es eine Ausstiegsklausel, dank der Grgic für 50.000 Euro zu haben war.
Es war kein Geheimnis, dass Grgic – der in Flensburg deutlich mehr Gehalt als in Eisenach oder der TSV Hannover Burgdorf, die auch interessiert war, kassiert – am liebsten sofort zum Top-Klub wechseln würde. Diesen Wunsch drückt er jetzt durch.
Die offizielle Formulierung der Eisenacher liest sich moderat, aber vielsagend: „Auf eindringlichen Spielerwunsch hin haben beide Vereine die Verhandlungen aufgenommen und konnten sich auf Ablösemodalitäten für einen sofortigen Wechsel verständigen.“

Der Hammer: Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen soll der Torschützenkönig der abgelaufenen Saison seinen Vertrag in Eisenach gekündigt und dadurch den Wechsel erzwungen haben.
Dazu kam, dass Flensburg mit Mads Mensah einen Rechtshänder im Rückraum zu Skjern Håndbold nach Dänemark abgibt. Und zwar nicht erst, wie ursprünglich geplant, 2026, sondern ebenfalls sofort!
Durch diese Vorgänge nahmen die Verhandlungen zwischen den Klubs wieder Fahrt auf, nachdem Eisenachs Geschäftsführer René Witte seinen Shootingstar bislang klipp und klar für unverkäuflich erklärt hatte.

Er hat das Gespräch mit uns gesucht und eindringlich den Wunsch geäußert, sich schon jetzt der SG Flensburg-Handewitt anschließen zu dürfen. In die Verhandlungen mit der SG sind wir zwar nur ungern eingetreten, waren aber motiviert, eine Lösung zu finden, die alle Seiten zufriedenstellt.“
Nach dem Abgang von Trainer Misha Kaufmann nach Stuttgart und einem halben Dutzend Spieler (Donker, Mengon, Snajder, Maric und Vistorop) wird der ThSV nicht wiederzuerkennen sein.
BILD enthüllt Handball-Streit: Olympia-Held zofft sich mit Spieler-Papa
Immerhin: Finanziell lohnt sich der Deal für die Thüringer richtig. Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen bewegt sich der Deal in der Größenordnung des bislang größten Transfers der HBL-Geschichte. Die Rekordsumme liegt bislang bei rund 400.000 Euro, die Melsungen 2019 für Kai Häfner als Ablöse nach Hannover überwies.
Aus Flensburg ist zu hören, dass die Grgic-Ablöse darunter liegen soll – doch mehrere andere Quellen sprechen von zum Teil deutlich höheren Summen.
Fakt ist: Das Dauer-Transfer-Thema Marko Grgic ist jetzt definitiv beendet.
