While the summer didn’t unfold the way Trinity Rodman initially planned, the 23-year-old soccer phenom made sure to soak up the sunshine and love with boyfriend Ben Shelton. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Rodman gave fans an intimate look at her romantic retreat with the rising tennis star, and their chemistry was on full display.
The post, shared Monday, featured a collection of moments from their vacation and the two athletes didn’t hold back on the PDA. One standout image showed the couple locking lips in front of a stunning waterfront backdrop. Rodman, dressed in a green bikini, looked relaxed and confident despite being away from the pitch.
“Not the summer that I had in mind but still loved every moment,” Rodman captioned the post. “Can’t wait to be back on the field.”
Rodman, who stars for the Washington Spirit in the NWSL and is the daughter of NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman, has been sidelined since April with a back injury. Though her absence from competition has been a challenge, she has remained committed to her rehab and training regimen, even during her time away. The social media update was a rare glimpse into how she’s balancing rest, recovery, and personal time during her healing process.
