Das Sportzentrum Vinnhorst in Hannover am Donnerstagmorgen um kurz nach 8. Die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf startet in die Vorbereitung auf die neue Saison in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga.
Gut für Trainer Christian Prokop (46), der die Niedersachsen seit Sommer 2021 coacht, dass er quasi auf noch zwei zusätzliche Spieler setzen kann.

Zwei Handball-Stars haben ihr erstes Mal
Die deutschen Nationalspieler Renars Uscins (23) und Justus Fischer (22) sind zum ersten Mal unter Prokop komplett UND von Anfang an bei einer Saison-Vorbereitung dabei. In den Jahren zuvor waren es internationale Junioren-Turniere (U19, U21) oder die Olympischen Spiele, derentwegen Uscins und Fischer beim Klub zum Start fehlten.
„Das freut mich und ist auch gut für uns“, sagt Prokop. „Es ist wichtig, dass beide von Anfang an und voll mit dabei sind. Wir müssen viel an der Athletik arbeiten und uns zusammenfinden. Schließlich müssen wir auch drei neue Rückraumspieler integrieren.“
Damit meint der Ex-Bundestrainer Maxim Orlov (23, kam vom 1. VfL Potsdam), Leif Tissier (25, kam vom HSV Hamburg) und Sindre Aho (27, kam aus Montpellier/Frankreich). Vierter Neuer ist Linksaußen August Pedersen (31, kam von der SG Flensburg).
[–>Beim ersten Training zwar in der Halle, aber nicht auf der Platte war der norwegische Kreisläufer Thomas Solstad (28). Solstad hatte zuletzt einen Bronchial-Infekt, in Absprache mit den Team-Ärzten steigt er erst am Wochenende richtig in die Vorbereitung ein.
Das erste Testspiel absolviert Prokops Mannschaft am Samstag (17.30 Uhr) beim Viertligisten HSG Nienburg. Weitere Vorbereitungs-Termine: gegen TV Borken (24. Juli, 18 Uhr), gegen TBV Lemgo Lippe (25. Juli, 17 Uhr), gegen SC Magdeburg in Köthen (2. August, 19.30 Uhr), Heide-Cup in Schneverdingen (8. bis 10. August), Trainingslager in Barsinghausen (12. bis 16. August), gegen GWD Minden (22. August, 19 Uhr).
Das erste Bundesliga-Spiel steigt am 27. August (19 Uhr) in der ZAG-Arena gegen den VfL Gummersbach.
