Barça-Keeper Marc-André ter Stegen (33) hatte sich auf Social Media zu seiner anstehenden Rücken-Operation geäußert. Doch das macht den FC Barcelona jetzt offenbar sauer!

Denn: Der Deutsche nennt in seinem Post explizit eine Ausfalldauer!

[–>Dort schreibt ter Stegen: „Nach meiner letzten Rückenoperation kehrte ich nach 66 Tagen, also fast zwei Monaten, auf den Platz zurück. Dieses Mal gehen die Ärzte davon aus, dass etwa drei Monate als Vorsichtsmaßnahme nötig sind, um Risiken zu vermeiden.“

Problem: Barcelona kann den langjährigen Stammtorhüter, der im Sommer unter Trainer Hansi Flick zur Nummer drei degradiert wurde, nun nicht verkaufen. Laut der spanischen Sportzeitung „Sport“ ist der katalanische Klub deshalb wütend auf ter Stegen.

Hintergrund: Bei einer langwierigen Verletzung kann ein Verein in Spanien 80 Prozent des Gehalts des ausgefallenen Spielers nutzen, um andere Spieler zu registrieren. Der FC Barcelona hat davon sogar schon Gebrauch gemacht.

Als langwierige Verletzung gilt „Sport“ zufolge aber erst eine Ausfallzeit von mindestens vier Monaten. Und nach SPORT BILD-Informationen, rechnet man im Klub tatsächlich mit einem längeren Ausfall als die von ter Stegen verkündeten drei Monate.

Die Katalanen informierten übrigens erst deutlich nach ter Stegens persönlicher Botschaft auf ihren Kanälen über die anstehende Operation.

Im Gegensatz zum Nationaltorhüter, der bei Bundestrainer Julian Nagelsmann als Nummer eins für die WM 2026 in Amerika eingeplant ist, nannten sie keine Details zur Ausfalldauer.

Bereits im Dezember 2023 war der deutsche Nationaltorhüter am Rücken operiert worden und fiel drei Monate aus. Und auch vergangene Saison musste er unters Messer, nachdem er sich am 22. September beim Barça-Spiel gegen Villarreal (5:1) einen Patellasehnenriss zugezogen hatte. Er verpasste deshalb den Großteil der vergangenen Saison.

Vertraglich ist ter Stegen noch drei Jahre an die Katalanen gebunden. Bislang hat der Keeper öffentlich keine Wechsel-Absichten geäußert.
