On Tuesday night, July 24, the Indiana Fever earned a hard-fought 80-70 victory over A’ja Wilson’s Las Vegas Aces, doing so without Caitlin Clark on the floor as she continues to recover from a nagging groin injury.
Although the team missed its biggest star, the Fever’s starting five managed to rise to the challenge and secure a win they desperately needed. For now, there is still no official word on when Clark will return to action. However, indications suggest the franchise is unwilling to rush her comeback to avoid repeating what happened earlier this season: after five games sidelined, she returned to the court only for the injury to resurface, potentially more severe than before.

Caitlin Clark’s impact on and off the court
Clark is not only the face of her team but also the brightest star in the entire WNBA. Their next matchup is at home on Sunday, July 27, against the Chicago Sky, followed by a road contest against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday, July 30, a tough challenge that could further test their resurgence.
