O Atlético-MG parece ter resolvido seu problema em relação aos volantes do elenco, já que Fausto Vera voltou a campo contra o Bucaramanga. Assim, o argentino se colocou à disposição de Cuca e já pode participar de outras partidas. O atleta estava treinando separado dos companheiros.
Fausto Vera fala sobre sua situação no Atlético-MG
Recentemente, Fausto Vera pediu para deixar a relação de jogadores do Atlético-MG, alegando não estar com a cabeça no clube. Assim, Cuca logo o afastou do elenco, e não contou mais com ele até a segunda partida contra o Bucaramanga. Dessa forma, o volante disse não entender muito bem sua situação atual.
“Está um pouco confusa a minha situação. Tenho possibilidade de deixar o clube e estava treinando sozinho. Mas, hoje, como o treinador e o clube precisaram de mim, continuei de boa vontade. Sou jogador do clube”, comentou Fausto Vera.
Sobre uma saída do clube, Fausto Vera não negou que há chances, mas que respeita seu vínculo com o Atlético-MG até o último dia. “Tenho possibilidades, mas sou jogador do clube e, até o último dia que eu estiver aqui, se eles precisarem de mim, estarei disposto para defender a camisa”, completou.
Cuca comenta retorno do volante
Praticamente sem um primeiro volante disponível para enfrentar o Bucaramanga, Cuca recorreu a Fausto Vera no duelo da Sul-Americana. Depois, na coletiva, o técnico do Galo falou sobre o jogador, elogiou sua participação e disse que conta com ele.
“Perdemos o Patrick, com um problema na coluna, e o Alan Franco. O Fausto Vera estava naquela: vai sair, não vai. Ainda bem que não me precipitei. Poderia ter falado há um mês: ‘Comigo você não joga mais’. E hoje precisei dele, foi bem. Ele foi útil, se retratou com o grupo e se colocou à disposição. Eu não ia atrás dele. Foi uma atitude que ele tomou e, agora, ele nos ajudou”, disse Cuca.
Agora, é provável que Fausto Vera realmente deixe o Atlético-MG, já que o Galo fechou com o volante Alexsander, do ex-Fluminense, que estava no Al-Ahli. Anteriormente, o clube até procurou Danilo Barbosa, do Botafogo, que preferiu ir para um time da 2ª divisão da Arábia Saudita.
