Die Biathlon-Olympiasiegerin Laura Dahlmeier ist beim Bergsteigen in Pakistan schwer verunglückt. Es gibt aktuell noch keine näheren Informationen, wie es um die einstige Spitzensportlerin steht. Spitzensportler und Wegbegleiter sind im Gedanken bei ihr und wünschen nur das Beste für die Bayerin.
„Es ist eine schreckliche und schlimme Nachricht“, sagt die zweifache Biathlon-Olympiasiegerin Uschi Disl zu BILD. „Ich hoffe natürlich, dass sie nur verletzt ist und nicht noch Schlimmeres passiert ist. Sie ist eine richtig erfahrene Bergsteigerin und weiß genau, worauf sie sich im Gebirge einstellen muss. Aber die Natur kann man nicht voraussehen, wenn so ein Steinschlag kommt. Jetzt geht es nur darum, dass sie geborgen wird. Ich bin in Gedanken bei ihr.“

Auch Rodel-Olympiasieger Felix Loch (36) hat der Unfall mitgenommen und sagt: „Die Nachricht von Lauras Unfall hat mich und uns alle tief getroffen. In Gedanken bin ich bei ihr, ihrer Familie und ihren Freunden. Wir können jetzt nur in den Himmel raufschauen, für sie beten und hoffen, dass Laura wieder heimkommt.“
„Die Nachricht ist natürlich sehr schockierend, und ich hoffe, dass sie schnell gefunden und geborgen werden kann und dass alles gut ausgeht“, sagt Biathlon-Olympiasieger und Weltmeister Daniel Böhm (39). Er ist inzwischen beim Biathlon-Weltverband (IBU) Sportdirektor.
[–>Peter Schlickenrieder (55), Skilanglauf-Bundestrainer, ist mit Dahlmeier befreundet und war mit ihr oft auf Wander- und Klettertour. Er bekam heute Morgen einen Anruf von Dahlmeiers Vater Andreas, der ihm die Info überbrachte. „Alle schweben momentan im Ungewissen“, sagt Schlickenrieder. „Hoffentlich kommt sie da heil raus.“ Zuletzt war er mit Dahlmeier Ende April beim alpinen Skitouren-Rennen Trofeo Mezzalama in Italien am Start.
Rodlerin Dajana Eitberger (34), zweimal Weltmeisterin, schrieb bei Instagram: „Bin in Gedanken bei ihr!“ Auch die frühere Biathletin und Langläuferin Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle (44) – zweimal Olympiasiegerin – kommentierte in den sozialen Medien: „Wir sind in Gedanken bei dir Laura!“
