Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, recently found himself engaging in a lighthearted exchange with Alexis Ohanian after the Reddit co-founder shared a candid moment about fatherhood. Ohanian, who is married to tennis icon Serena Williams, posted about how raising his daughters has shifted his perspective in ways he never expected.
“My girls show me the world in ways I never saw before. They’re kind, sweet, and okay… a little chaotic,” Ohanian wrote on Instagram.
Jordan, who maintains a visible presence on social media, jumped into the comments to laugh along with the post, showing his appreciation for Ohanian’s candid glimpse into life as a father.
A shared moment amid very different headlines
For Ohanian and Williams, family has been central to their public narrative. The couple first met in May 2015 in Rome and Ohanian proposed in December 2016 at the same table where they first met.
Their November 2017 wedding at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans was a lavish, Disney-inspired “Beauty and the Beast” celebration attended by stars like Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and Venus Williams.
Jordan’s own name has been in headlines for different reasons. His relationship with Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of his father’s longtime Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, drew widespread attention when the two were first spotted together in Miami in January 2023.
The pairing stirred discussion given the history between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, and the relationship remained under scrutiny until it officially ended in July 2024. At the time, Larsa confirmed the split, stating she wanted to focus on her family, friends, and personal growth.
Reports later emerged suggesting the breakup had been complicated by tension, including messages and outreach to her friends from Jordan that added strain to their final separation.
