Três pessoas morreram e outras três ficaram feridas, entre elas, uma menina de 12 anos, após um ataque armado ocorrido durante uma partida de futebol amador na tarde deste domingo (3), na paróquia de Buenavista, localizada no cantão Pasaje, província de El Oro, no Equador, próxima à fronteira com o Peru.
De acordo com o jornal local Ecuador Comunicación, um grupo de homens armados chegou ao local em vários veículos e abriu fogo contra os torcedores que assistiam à partida, provocando pânico e correria.
O coronel Pablo Fajardo, da Polícia Nacional, informou que os suspeitos chegaram em duas motocicletas e dispararam indiscriminadamente com armas de fogo contra os presentes. “Uma das vítimas já havia sido alvo de um atentado no ano passado e estava hospitalizada”, disse o oficial à imprensa equatoriana. As autoridades não divulgaram os nomes das vítimas nem a possível motivação do crime até o momento.
Em vídeos que circulam nas redes sociais de uma transmissão ao vivo é possível ouvir os disparos e logo em seguida as pessoas correndo e gritando. Testemunhas relataram ao jornal que os corpos ficaram estendidos no gramado do campo de futebol. Os feridos foram levados inicialmente para centros médicos da região.

A Polícia Nacional isolou a área e recolheu cápsulas de projéteis de diferentes calibres, o que indica o uso de armamento pesado no atentado. Segundo a corporação, nenhuma prisão foi efetuada até agora, e operações de busca seguem em andamento na região.
