Real Madrid kommt – und mit dem Hype explodieren die Preise!
Die Königlichen in Österreich – für viele Fußballfans ein absolutes Highlight! Am Dienstag (15. August, 19 Uhr) gastiert der 15-fache Champions-League-Sieger in Innsbruck und trifft im Tivoli-Stadion auf die WSG Tirol. Zum ersten Mal seit 2021 zeigen sich die „Los Blancos“ wieder auf österreichischen Boden. Doch was ein Traum sein sollte, wird für manche zur bitteren Enttäuschung.
Bereits nach 40 Minuten waren alle Tickets vergriffen – trotz happiger Einstiegspreise ab 65 Euro. Für ein Freundschaftsspiel wohlgemerkt! 15.000 Fans schlugen dennoch zu. Nun schlagen viele davon aber Kapital daraus: Auf Ticketportalen tauchten kurz darauf Tickets auf – zu teils völlig absurden Preisen. Ein Nutzer verlangte tatsächlich 900 Euro für einen einzigen Sitzplatz!
[–>Die Reaktionen im Netz ließen nicht lange auf sich warten. „Jetzt verkaufen alle über Willhaben (Ticketportal). Frechheit! Hoffentlich bleibt ihr auf den Karten sitzen!“, ärgert sich eine Userin. Ein anderer schreibt: „Da kannst nach Madrid fliegen und dort schauen – 4 Tickets 2200 Euro.“
Die Kritik trifft auch die WSG Tirol, die sich gezwungen sah, sich öffentlich zu äußern. In einer Stellungnahme betont der Klub: „Die WSG Tirol bittet um Kenntnisnahme, dass sie keinen Einfluss auf das Ticketing, die Preisgestaltung sowie die Organisation hatte. Für das Ticketing sowie die Organisation ist ausschließlich Onside Sports als Veranstalter zuständig.“
Dabei ist das Spiel für Real sportlich gesehen kein reines Spektakel. Trainer Xabi Alonso (43) nutzt die Partie als letzten Härtetest vor dem LaLiga-Auftakt am 19. August gegen Osasuna. Ursprünglich wollte Real den Saisonstart verschieben – vergeblich. Der Verband ließ den Antrag abblitzen.

Besonders sauer stößt dem Klub die kurze Vorbereitungszeit auf. Wegen der Klub-WM konnten die „Los Blancos“ erst spät ins Training einsteigen – anders als etwa Barcelona oder Atlético. Der vereinseigene Sender sprach gar von einem „Schlag ins Gesicht der Sportmedizin“. Liga-Boss Javier Tebas konterte kühl: „Chelsea startet früher, PSG auch. Kein Grund für Proteste.“
Das Spiel in Innsbruck bleibt also ein hochkarätiger Test mit bitterem Beigeschmack – für Real, aber vor allem für viele frustrierte Fans.
