La localidad murciana de Jumilla se ha convertido en el centro de atención de toda España. El gobierno local, compuesto por PP y VOX, ha prohibido la celebración de ritos islámicos en todos los espacios públicos del pueblo. Una decisión que ha marcado el tono de la emisión de este jueves, 7 de agosto, en ‘Espejo Público’. El espacio de Antena 3 ha tratado el asunto y, en especial, Gonzalo Miró.
El periodista, un habitual colaborador del programa matinal, ha opinado acerca de la información conocida hasta el momento y tras escuchar algunos testimonios de los vecinos del municipio. “Aquí no ha habido ningún problema. Se ha generado algo de donde no lo hay”, ha valorado Miró.
Miró alza la voz por el “discurso de VOX” sobre los extranjeros
Para él, las excusas de los gobernantes no se sostienen sobre el supuesto desarrollo violento de estos ritos, sino que suceden de forma totalmente opuesta. Ante ello, ha pedido “combatir un discurso de VOX que sí que cala y que dice que los problemas de los nacidos en España vienen provocados por la gente de fuera”.

La postura de VOX es, bajo el prisma de Gonzalo Miró, una clara referencia a “la islamofobia”. “Negarlo es como negar que el cielo es azul”, ha añadido el periodista en tono irónico ante las cámaras de Antena 3. La formación de Santiago Abascal estaría tratando de, según ha dicho, “bloquear que puedan desarrollar sus creencias con total pacifismo”.
Por último, Miró ha puesto sobre la mesa el debate sobre si es cierto o no el argumento de muchos acerca de que en los países islámicos no respetan las creencias de los foráneos y les obligan a seguir sus costumbres. “¿Queremos ser cómo ellos? Demos ejemplo y no caigamos en la misma negación”. ha zanjado en ‘Espejo Público’.
