Die Rede ist von Bradley Barcola (22) von Paris Saint-Germain. Die seriöse französische Sportzeitung „L‘Equipe“ berichtet vom Interesse der Reds am Flügelstürmer. Barcola war letzte Saison an 25 Toren in der Ligue 1 beteiligt. Der Transfer würde Liverpool dabei wieder über 100 Millionen Euro kosten. Erst ab diesem Preis wäre PSG überhaupt gesprächsbereit.
Allerdings wird es wohl schwer, diesen Wechsel durchzubekommen. Denn: Barcola soll zu einem Verbleib in Paris tendieren. Und auch PSG hat nicht vor, den Flügelflitzer abzugeben.
Trotzdem ist der Wechsel nicht ausgeschlossen. Eine anonyme Quelle, die mit dem Fall vertraut ist, verrät der französischen Zeitung: „Wir werden uns nicht anlügen, die Chance, dass er bleibt, liegt bei 95 Prozent. Aber es sind keine 100 Prozent.“
[–>Anders war das noch vor Wochen bei der Anfrage vom FC Bayern. Die hatten Barcola ebenfalls hoch auf ihrem Wunschzettel, führten auch intensive Gespräche mit der Spielerseite. Am Ende legte Paris sein Veto ein und der nächste Kandidat erteilte den Münchnern eine Absage. Mit dem Wechsel von Luis Diaz (28) ist die Position auf der linken Außenbahn nun besetzt.
Aber: Die Bayern behalten den Franzosen für kommende Transferperioden im Blick.
Anders bei Liverpool. Hier könnte Barcola Cody Gakpo (26) Konkurrenz machen. Die hohe Ablösesumme ist derweil für den LFC kein Problem. Durch den Transfer von Darwin Nunez (26) zu Saudi-Klub Al Hilal werden 70 Millionen Euro in die Kassen gespült.
Zudem haben die Reds zuletzt eine dreistellige Millionensummer für Alexander Isak (25) geboten. Der Stürmer soll, wie Transferexperte Fabrizio Romano berichtet, dazu weiter höchste Priorität beim Team von Arne Slot (46) genießen.
Klappt es aber nicht mit dem Transfer von Newcastle zu Liverpool, könnte die Aktie Barcola so richtig heiß werden. Der Franzose hat noch bis 2028 Vertrag bei PSG. Es wäre der nächste Mega-Transfer für Liverpool.
