Alles klar zwischen diesem Star und dem FC Barcelona!
Jules Kounde wird seinen Vertrag bis 2030 verlängern – nur die Unterschrift fehlt noch. Laut der spanischen „Sport“ ist alles verhandelt, die Bestätigung soll demnächst folgen.
Anfragen aus England? Koundé winkte ab
Ursprünglich war Kounde noch bis 2027 an Barça gebunden – doch mehrere Premier-League-Klubs wollten ihn in diesem Sommer aus Katalonien loseisen. Auch Manchester City klopfte an, um dem Verteidiger womöglich die Rückkehr in die Innenverteidigung zu ermöglichen, schreibt „Sport“. Doch Kounde lehnte alle Anfragen ab, will unbedingt bei Barcelona bleiben.

Bis zu seiner Verletzung in der Schlussphase der vergangenen Saison war Kounde der Spieler mit den meisten Einsätzen im Team.

Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass Kounde der Premier League einen Korb gibt: Schon 2022 stand er kurz vor einem Wechsel zum FC Chelsea – doch Barça kam dazwischen und schnappte sich den damals heiß begehrten Verteidiger, ähnlich wie bei Raphinha (28).
Seitdem ist Kounde zu einem der besten Rechtsverteidiger der Welt gereift – auch wenn es nicht seine bevorzugte Position ist. Seine Achse mit Lamine Yamal ist fester Bestandteil von Flicks System.
Und mit 26 Jahren steht Kounde nun vor seinen besten Jahren – weiter in den Farben der Blaugrana.
