With the All-Pro rusher Micah Parsons drama dominating the news related to Dallas this offseason, the Cowboys hope to get a victory for their fans.
It’s not going to be an easy task: the Rams won the NFC West Division and lost in the playoffs to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though Los Angeles will be without superstar quarterback Matthew Stafford, they do have a solid team that could be a contender this year, so it’s not an easy game for the Cowboys.

At the Dallas Cowboys‘ training camp, wide receivers George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb went one-on-one in a jaw-dropping one-handed catch contest, wowing the crowd with highlight-reel grabs that showed just how talented the team is at the offensive side.

Since Dallas traded for Pickens this offseason, he and Lamb have been inseparable on and off the field. The All-Pro has been sharing tips, helping Pickens settle in and adapt quickly to the Cowboys‘ offense.
With Dak Prescott throwing to them, Dallas has one of the most dangerous receiver duos in the league. For Pickens, it’s a “prove it” year before free agency, but Lamb is already hoping they’ll be teammates for years to come. If this early connection is any sign, opposing defenses are in for a long season.
A quarterback to watch for the Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have their franchise quarterback in Dak Prescott, but another player at the position have put his name on notice: young gunner Joe Milton III, who arrived at Texas after being traded from the New England Patriots.
After missing a majority of the team’s joint practice on Tuesday due to an injured hand, Milton now gets another shot against Los Angeles‘ defense this Saturday. When he was in the practice, he had the play of the day for Dallas‘ offense on a deep touchdown to Jalen Brooks.
The challenge for Milton in August will be the fact that, as his reps roll along, he’ll see a variety of different receivers and offensive linemen rotating in around him, particularly as the Cowboys ramp up evaluations of everyone heading into final roster cuts in about three weeks.
