David Beckham was photographed playfully placing a hand on Victoria’s lower back during a family dinner in Portofino on Friday, August 8, as the couple continue their summer holiday in the Mediterranean.
The 49-year-old former footballer, 49, and the 51-year-old fashion designer, are vacationing aboard a luxury yacht with three of their four children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, and seem to be having a good time.
The evening outing saw the couple and their kids, along with Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, step ashore for a sunset meal at the waterfront venue Bloody Bay as Jackie was spotted taking photos of the superstar pair.
Victoria wore a backless black dress showcasing her slender silhouette, while David opted for a bright blue shirt paired with beige trousers as they demonstrated why they remain the envy of the modelling world.
Jackie, meanwhile, chose a satin bra top and flowing skirt, with Cruz in a pale blue polo shirt as the group enjoyed wine, cocktails, and an assortment of dishes before returning to the yacht, which is anchored nearby.
The night marked another visible display of closeness between most of the Beckham family members. However, the absence of eldest son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, continued ongoing speculation about strained relations.
The 26-year-old has remained within the United States after marking his third wedding anniversary with a vow renewal and has been largely separate from the family’s Mediterranean itinerary.
Brooklyn’s absence from David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May intensified speculation about an ongoing rift as he was spotted in New York alongside Nicola and her mother, Claudia.
In a separate holiday earlier this summer, Brooklyn joined Nicola’s father, Nelson, so going on vacation is not an obstacle to him – only apparently when it comes to his own flesh-and-blood.
Inter Miami star rises up to shine in Leo Messi’s absence
Meanwhile the Inter Miami midfielder, Yannick Bright, delivered a standout performance in Wednesday’s 3-1 Leagues Cup win over Pumas, securing the club’s place in the quarterfinals against Tigres on August 20.
Starting for the first time since a hamstring injury in May, the 23-year-old Italian recorded eight tackles and played the key pass to Luis Suarez that led to Rodrigo De Paul’s equaliser.
“We wanted a defensive midfielder like Yannick, who played a huge game,” coach Javier Mascherano said, crediting him with disrupting Pumas’ midfield.
Bright, the lowest-paid Miami starter before his injury, is aiming to prove his value despite the high-profile arrival of De Paul. With Lionel Messi sidelined, he could start again in Sunday’s MLS clash at Orlando.
“Everyone’s trying to play. He’s really good, I know. But I can do good, too,” Bright said, backing his own talent against the man considered the best player of all-time.
