Zuletzt gab es Gerüchte aus Saudi-Arabien, dass der dortige Spitzenklub Al-Hilal den Stürmer-Star holen will – im Idealfall noch in diesem Sommer.
Wie der polnische Journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, der einen engen Draht zum Barcelona-Star hat, jetzt berichtet, hat Lewandowski nicht vor, Barça zu verlassen. Ein Sommer-Wechsel komme für ihn nicht infrage, heißt es. Und: „Er ist glücklich, bereit für die neue Saison und will seinen Vertrag unbedingt erfüllen“, so Włodarczyk.
[–>Lewandowskis Vertrag beim LaLiga-Klub läuft noch bis 2026, mit der Option auf eine weitere Spielzeit. Aber: Schon im April berichtet die spanische Zeitung „Sport“, dass Barça diese Option wohl nicht ziehen werde und er den Klub spätestens 2026 verlassen müsse.
Lewandowski ist mittlerweile 36 Jahre alt. Offenbar plane Barcelona eine Verjüngung auf der Stürmerposition.
Der polnische Nationalspieler sieht in seinem Alter aber gar kein Problem. Ganz im Gegenteil. An die Fußballer-Rente denke er noch lange nicht, kündigte zuletzt an: „Ich weiß, dass viele Leute über mein Alter reden, aber ich möchte noch mehrere Jahre auf höchstem Niveau spielen.“

Aber kann er das auch bei Barça?
Das hängt offenbar von der kommenden Saison ab. Zeigt der Pole weiterhin Top-Leistungen, könnte es auch bei den Barça-Bossen wieder zu einem Umdenken kommen, so „Sport“. Aber: Die Spanier müssen weiterhin Geld sparen. Sollte man den Kontrakt wirklich noch einmal verlängern, dann mit Sicherheit mit deutlich niedrigeren Bezügen. Denn: Aktuell gehört er zu den Topverdienern des Klubs.
Auch Al-Hilal hat mittlerweile Ersatz gefunden. Der Wüsten-Verein hat den Transfer von Liverpool-Star Darwin Núñez (26) perfekt gemacht. Die „Reds“ erhalten für den Stürmer eine Ablösesumme von bis zu 63 Millionen Euro.
