Caio Ribeiro aprova a implementação do fair play financeiro no futebol do Brasil. Após reunião da CBF com federações e clubes para debater o projeto, o ex-jogador destacou o cenário de pouca rigidez nos bastidores. Neste cenário, assim como Leila Pereira, houve um discurso de reprovação envolvendo os times que realizam contratações enquanto não pagaram por reforços anteriores.
Além dos calotes aplicados no mercado da bola, Caio Ribeiro lembrou que o fair play financeiro será importante para administrar os gastos das SAFs. Levando em conta o planejamento da CBF, o sistema de controle tem chances de ter início a partir de 2026.
“É necessário (projeto de regulamentação financeira), principalmente com a entrada das SAFs. A gente vai ter uma diferença muito grande entre as equipes. Tem muito clube gastando sem responsabilidade. Devendo na praça e continuando a contratar jogadores. Precisa dar uma pausa e ter essa conscientização da parte de todos.”, disse Caio Ribeiro, em transmissão de Juventude x Corinthians.
Leila Pereira defende SAF e alfineta o Corinthians
Depois da eliminação do Palmeiras na Copa do Brasil, Leila Pereira, nas entrelinhas, reprovou os rumos administrativos do Corinthians. Ciente que o clube rival possui uma série de pendências financeiras em aberto, a presidente sinalizou uma vantagem em campo com a falta de punição pelas dívidas acumuladas.
“Verbalmente, todos estão de acordo (adotar o fair play financeiro). Ninguém tem coragem de dizer que é correto comprar e não pagar. Eu quero saber na prática. Eles não implementam o que acham correto. O Palmeiras compra e paga. O Palmeiras contrata e paga. Acho que a grande solução dos clubes é virar SAF.”, opinou Leila Pereira.
“O Palmeiras é um clube que paga rigorosamente em dia atletas, clubes e profissionais. Somos desclassificados por clubes que não pagam ninguém. Não é nada contra os outros. Os torcedores querem títulos e classificações, mas a conta chega. Será bom para o futebol brasileiro essa moralização. É imoral. Há clubes que pagam em dia e são prejudicados em detrimento de clubes que não pagam ninguém.”, prosseguiu.
Caio Ribeiro alerta o Corinthians
Enquanto o fair play financeiro não é aplicado, Caio Ribeiro acredita que, em 2025, o Corinthians pode flertar com um forte risco. Ainda que a Copa do Brasil seja uma possibilidade real de outro título na temporada, o comentarista sugere uma prioridade atrelada ao Brasileirão para evitar qualquer chance de rebaixamento.
“Quando você vem de uma decisão contra o Palmeiras, é natural que tenha uma queda de concentração e entra mais relaxado. Agora, sem Carrillo e Depay, é um time mais comum. É um campeonato que o Corinthians não pode se dar ao luxo de não entrar com a faca nos dentes e descartar resultados. É um campeonato perigoso do Corinthians até aqui.”, avisou.
