Tvrdých zákroků bylo v zápase více. Čekali jste, že domácí budou trochu v soubojích ostřejší?
Věděli jsme, že jsme doma vyhráli 4:1, s jakým náskokem sem jedeme, že domácí budou trochu agresivnější. Je to jejich nátura, museli jsme dávat míč rychle od nohy. Jsem rád, že se nám utkání podařilo dovést do vítězného konce. Asi ne extrémně přesvědčivým výkonem. Mohli jsme rozhodnout dřív a nemuselo to být intenzivní až do konce.
Faul na Preciada vás hodně rozlítil.
Byl to nepříjemný zákrok. Surový. Těžko k tomu říct víc. Jestli chceme chránit hráče, má to být rovnou červená, pak by nemusela nastat potyčka u střídaček. Ale vypadá to, že Angelo i ostatní kluci budou v pohodě. Máme VAR, tohle byl za mě alibismus. Rozhodčímu jsem jen řekl, že je to jasná červená, ať se na to jde podívat. Nic dalšího.
Nemrzí vás možná zbytečná žlutá?
Jsou to emoce, rozhodování ve zlomku sekundy. Samozřejmě mě mrzí, ale potřeboval jsem ze sebe dostat právě emoce. Byl to hororový zákrok. Snažil jsem se jen chránit svého parťáka.
Pojďme k zápasu obecně. Jaké to bylo nastoupit v trochu netradičním prostředí?
Věděli jsme, kde a na čem budeme hrát. Na začátku tréninku nám všechno připomínalo soustředění ve Španělsku. Silný vítr, jedna malá tribuna. Ale na nic se nevymlouváme, takové to je a myslím, že jsme si poradili velmi dobře. Hru jsme podle mě kontrolovali, zaslouženě vyhráli a postoupili.
Opět se prosadil Albion Rrahmani, popáté z posledních šesti zápasů.
Je to super, útočná síla našeho týmu je obrovská. Těší mě, že se znovu trefil, stejně tak Ermal. To je úloha nás vpředu. Pak budou výkony lepší a věřím, že formu udrží nejen Albion, ale přidáme se my všichni.
Už v neděli vás čeká venku Liberec, o odkladu některého utkání prý není řeč. Jak vy se aktuálně cítíte?
Máme za sebou cesty do Kazachstánu nebo Arménie. Fotbal možná není tak náročný, ale přesuny ano. Cítil jsem se trochu více unavený. I přes zranění máme pořád dost hráčů, ale víme, že to je a bude náročné. Víme, jak se v Liberci hraje, v týmu jsou někteří naši staří známí.
