Na Copa do Brasil, o Atlético-MG terá encontro marcado com seu maior rival, o Cruzeiro, na busca por uma vaga nas semifinais da competição. O clássico já vem agitando Belo Horizonte, os torcedores das duas equipes e as projeções para as partidas já começam a rolar.
Palpite do ídolo
Um atleta bastante acostumado a defender o Galo nos clássicos com a Raposa também deu seu parecer quanto ao que acredita que a partida será. Em entrevista ao podcast Bochechando, o ex-atacante Jô foi perguntado sobre o palpite que tem para os jogos do mata-mata nacional e não titubeou ao confiar no alvinegro para poder obter a vaga.
“Ah, com certeza o Galo (se classifica), não tem como. É jogo difícil, é complicado, mas com certeza o Galo passa”, disse Jô.
Tendo anunciado nos últimos dias a sua aposentadoria do futebol para tocar projetos musicais, Jô tem uma história muito ligada ao Atlético-MG, clube que defendeu entre 2012 e 2015 e pelo qual foi um dos heróis da conquista da Libertadores de 2013. Durante sua passagem pelo Galo, foram 39 gols em 127 partidas pelo clube.
Mesmo também identificado com o Corinthians, clube pelo qual se profissionalizou e também teve passagens e conquistas importantes, o ex-jogador disse ao podcast ter uma grande identificação com a equipe mineira e revelou ‘gratidão grande’ por poder ter defendido as duas equipes durante sua carreira no futebol.
“Eu tive vários clubes que passei, mas o mais marcante de fato é o Atlético. Mas sem o Corinthians, eu não chegaria ao Atlético. São dois clubes que trago no coração, uma gratidão muito grande”, disse Jô.
