Laut Transfer-Guru Fabrizio Romano ist Manchester City heiß auf Rodrygo und zieht einen Transfer in Betracht. Die „Cityzens“ sehen ihn demnach als Traum-Transfer und Guardiola gilt als großer Fan.
Der geforderte Preis liegt bei circa 100 Millionen Euro. Trotz wochenlanger Rodrygo-Gerüchte um Arsenal, Liverpool und FC Bayern hatte bislang aber kein einziger Top-Klub eine konkrete Offerte abgegeben. Der Betrag schreckte offenbar den Markt ab. City aber nicht?

Der Brasilianer hat noch einen Vertrag bis 2028, läuft seit 2019 im weißen Dress auf. Ausgebildet wurde er beim FC Santos. Mit den Königlichen hat er zweimal die Champions League gewonnen (2022, 2024) und wurde dreimal spanischer Meister (2020, 2022, 2024).
