Když se Šwiateková po úsměvné části debaty dostala k hodnocení svého výkonu, pochvalovala si hlavně zlepšení servisu. A pak už mohla čekat na soupeřku pro boj o titul.
Ve druhém, snad ještě dramatičtějším semifinále přemohla Jasmine Paoliniová Veroniku Kuděrmětovovou 6:3, 6:7 (2:7), 6:3.
