Cristiano Ronaldo (40) ist ohne Zweifel einer der besten Fußballspieler der Geschichte. Doch auch immer wieder wurde ihm eine arrogante Art unterstellt. So macht das nun auch Ex-La-Liga-Spieler Walter Pandiani (49) – und findet deutliche Worte.
Der ehemalige Stürmer, der für mehrere spanische Klubs kickte, sagte im Interview mit der spanischen Sportzeitung AS: „Die Osasuna-Fans sind heiß. Sie haben ihn schon ausgepfiffen und beschimpft, sobald er zum Aufwärmen auf den Platz gekommen ist. Das hat ihn wütend gemacht – und er hat Freistöße vor dem Spiel gemacht und auf die Leute geschossen.“
[–>Und: „Deshalb war die Atmosphäre schon vor dem Anpfiff angespannt. Bei einem Freistoß für Madrid hat Cristiano meinen Teamkollegen Javier Camunas weggestoßen. Ich bin hingegangen, um zu helfen und habe ihn auch geschubst. Da hat er mich gefragt, wer ich bin und wie viel ich verdiene.“
Pandiani fügte hinzu: „Der Streit mit ihm und Sergio Ramos ging noch im Kabinentunnel weiter. Ich war richtig sauer – und sie auch. Mir hat sein Verhalten gar nicht gefallen. Er war ein sehr arroganter Typ. Als Torjäger war er toll, aber sein Verhalten ließ zu wünschen übrig. Hinterher hat Real-Trainer José Mourinho gesagt, dass ich nur Schlagzeilen will. Aber da hatte ich schon elf Jahre Erstliga-Fußball hinter mir. Insgesamt war das alles sehr unangenehm.“

Walter Pandiani spielte in Spanien für Deportivo La Coruna, CA Osasuna, FC Villarreal, RCD Mallorca sowie Espanyol Barcelona und knipste dabei durchaus zuverlässig. In 279 Ligaspielen gelangen ihm 82 Treffer. Bis zum Februar war er als Trainer für den uruguayischen Erstligisten Miramar Misiones aktiv.
