Travis Hunter‘s whirlwind year reached another milestone this week when the Jacksonville Jaguars rookie and his wife, Leanna Lenee, announced the birth of their first child.
The couple, who married in May in Nashville, revealed the news through an emotional YouTube video titled “Dear Son…” that captured their private journey from the moment of discovery to the delivery room.

As the pregnancy progressed, Hunter expressed his own hopes for his child. “You gotta be better than me,” he told his unborn son, a message that showed his desire to see his child surpass his own accomplishments.
In the video’s most powerful sequence, the screen fades to black as the sounds of the newborn’s first cries fill the room. Hunter is heard reassuring Leanna, saying, “That baby look just like me! You did good baby.”
