Der eine ist spätestens am Saisonende weg – was wird aus dem anderen?
Seit Wochen schwelt beim Deutschen Handball-Meister Füchse Berlin ein offener Machtkampf, weil die auslaufenden Verträge von Trainer Jaron Siewert und Sportvorstand Stefan Kretzschmar noch nicht verlängert sind.

Viel deutet darauf hin, dass der mächtige Geschäftsführer Bob Hanning (57) den Champion trotz aller Erfolge neu aufstellen will. Handball-Ikone „Kretzsche“ zog daraus als erstes die Konsequenzen, verkündete am Dienstag, dass er die Berliner zum Saisonende verlassen wird.
Auch Trainer Jaron Siewert wartet vor dem Topspiel gegen Magdeburg am Samstag (15.40 Uhr/ARD und live bei Dyn/Anzeige) auf seine Vertragsverlängerung. Wird es die nicht mehr geben?
Das heiße Gerücht in der Hauptstadt: Hanning wird seinen Cheftrainer – immerhin jüngster Meister-Trainer aller Zeiten – in Kürze vor die Tür setzen.

Ein Grund: Siewert soll im Team mittlerweile umstritten sein. Vor allem die erfahrenen Leistungsträger vermissen frische Impulse in der Trainingsarbeit von Siewert, der jetzt fünf Jahre Füchse-Coach ist. Daher sollen zuletzt in den Spielpausen mehr und mehr die älteren Spieler die Kommandos gegeben haben.
Ein anderes Krach-Beispiel: Im Supercup gegen Kiel setzte Siewert sehr spät auf Aitor Ariño (32), brachte den spanischen Weltmeister erst in der 48. Minute. Viele Leistungsträger hätten ihn liebend gern früher auf der Platte gesehen, als das Spiel zugunsten Kiels kippte.

Allerdings: Der Saisonstart ist nach dem Meistertitel auf voller Linie geglückt. Nach dem Supercup-Titel gab’s zwei Siege gegen den BHC und Göppingen. Beim 32:26 in Göppingen stellte sich Siewert am Dyn-Mikro, viel Erhellendes konnte er aber nicht beitragen: „Es bleibt dabei, wir sind in Gesprächen, zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt kann ich nichts weiter dazu sagen.“
Alles deutet darauf hin: Die Zeit von Siewert, der die Füchse zum ersten Meistertitel ihrer Klubgeschichte in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga geführt hat, läuft ab. Möglicherweise schon in dieser Woche.
Hanning soll dem Vernehmen nach bereits mit Hochdruck einen Nachfolger suchen – für sofort oder für die nächste Saison? Dazu passt jedenfalls, dass der in Flensburg freigestellte Nicolej Krickau bei der SG nach SPORT BILD-Informationen an einer Vertragsauflösung arbeitet.
