Die Zukunft von David Alaba (33) bei Real Madrid ist weiter ungewiss. Obwohl das Transferfenster in den meisten europäischen Top-Ligen längst geschlossen ist, reißen die Spekulationen um den ÖFB-Kapitän nicht ab. In Spanien machen nun Gerüchte die Runde, die den 33-Jährigen mit einem Wechsel in die Türkei in Verbindung bringen.
Laut dem Portal „Defensa Central“ sollen sowohl Fenerbahçe als auch Besiktas großes Interesse am Abwehrspieler haben. Beide Istanbuler Klubs suchen dringend nach einem erfahrenen Verteidiger, den sie noch bis zum 12. September – dem Ende der türkischen Transferfrist – verpflichten könnten. Denkbar sei sowohl ein Kauf zu moderaten Konditionen als auch eine Leihe. Für Real Madrid wäre ein Abgang finanziell durchaus attraktiv: Der Österreicher soll rund 22,5 Millionen Euro jährlich verdienen, sein Vertrag läuft ohnehin im Sommer 2026 aus.

Auch Kerem Aktürkoglu (26, 22,5 Mio. von Benfica) wurde geholt, zudem investierte der Klub mehrere Millionen in weitere Neuzugänge. Trainer José Mourinho (62) allerdings musste schon seinen Stuhl räumen – nach verpatzter Champions-League-Quali und internen Streitigkeiten trennte sich der Verein vom Starcoach.

Auch Besiktas steht sportlich unter Druck: Nach dem Aus in der Conference-League-Quali musste Trainer Ole Gunnar Solskjær (52) ebenfalls gehen. Präsident Serdal Adali (61) erklärte nüchtern: „Unser Vertrag mit Cheftrainer Ole Gunnar Solskjær wurde nach einer einstimmigen Entscheidung des Vorstands terminiert.“
Beide Istanbuler Traditionsklubs suchen nun dringend nach einem Führungsspieler in der Abwehr – und Alaba wäre genau das Profil. Ob er den Lockrufen vom Bosporus widerstehen kann, ist die große Frage der kommenden Tage.
