The Michigan alum marked a before-and-after moment for the league; today, he remains a more than credible voice.

Tom Brady has a great story of overcoming the odds in the NFL. The quarterback was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 Draft, with the 199th overall pick by the New England Patriots. Little by little, he climbed within the organization until becoming the great leader and reference point for the Pats, where he won 6 Super Bowls.
After 20 seasons with the Patriots, for the 2020 season Tom Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and led them to win Super Bowl LV. A historic career, a future Hall of Famer, and now he remains tied to the NFL as a commentator and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Tom Brady spoke about today’s NFL and Patrick Mahomes
Tom Brady appeared on an episode of comedian Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls, where the former NFL quarterback was asked whether the game has changed and his opinion on today’s NFL. He responded:
“I think there are more challenges for this generation of quarterbacks in some ways, but for those who know how to take advantage of it, I also think there are more opportunities for them,” Brady said, adding: “I think there are many opportunities for them to succeed, and at the same time there are challenges because there are a lot more distractions than before.”
Brady was also asked about the career of Patrick Mahomes, who has won 3 Super Bowls in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, and he answered:
“He has a will to win,” Brady said. “Every time he steps onto the field, he has the desire to be a great leader. Everything he says is exactly the right thing.”
